Or whatever it's called that remains once you have bulldozed a lot in EIG and go back to CAW.

I usually bulldoze twice in EIG, the first time gets rid of the building and objects, the second removes the lot.
In CAW you can use the select tool to highlight the lot and hit delete on your keyboard.
You can click undo if you want the lot back(houses stay gone, though). This is useful for updating mipmaps when you change texture paints.

Yeh, that's what I've been doing in CAW. Guess I was wishing there was an easier way! Ah well, Thanks for the second opinion, PoisonFrog.

Hmmm...if you have a number of lots to delete it's probably quicker to delete them from the references in whatever layer they're on, right-clicking and selecting 'Find in Render Panel' first.
Not sure if that will help with your current situation or not...
