So I've been searching for a few weeks now, and I can't find a thread that has the same problem as what I'm experiencing, so I figured I might as well post something!
So, after I installed Showtime, I've been experiencing a few problems with my game. First off, I've created a bunch of new households for a new story I'm about to write, but whenever I try to move in the households the game console never appears. If I go to the normal Game Setup menu and move in the household, it'll load and then it'll show the overview of the town with no console. I'll be able to scroll around the neighborhood, but I can't click on or control anything. Because of this, I tried going to Edit Town and moving in my households that way, but once I select a house and click accept or whatever, the loading thing pops up and the load-circle spins but it never finishes loading. I've even tried selecting a household that was already moved in or merging my households with other ones and I experience the same issues.
My second problem is that whenever I'm in town overview (which is all the time because of previously stated issue), none of the lots have icons above them so I can't see what anything is, if it's occupied, etc.
I've tried loading the game w/o custom content, and I've also tried clearing ALL of my chaches including deleting everything in my Documents folder for sims and everything else recommended, and I have uninstalled ShowTime. I just don't know what else to try. Please help! Thank you! :help:
