I'm looking for worlds that I can download. The only EP I have is Ambitions. I tried searching for worlds in the download, but could only find 2 of them. Does anybody know where I can find more worlds for TS3?

World Index at the Official Sims 3 forums (don't be surprised if you have to refresh the page a few times before it works, or if it just doesn't work because the official forums are awful): http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/372366.page

Are all of those worlds free to download? I think the worlds on the official site you have to pay for.
Edit: Do you have to have all of the expansions in order for the worlds to work?

Yes, you need all expansions installed that the world creator had installed. It doesn't matter whether they used any items from that EP or not; the world won't work if you don't have those EPs. Sps are different; if a creator uses items from a stuff pack and the player doesn't have that installed, the stuffpack items will just be missing or substituted. You also need to have an equal or higer game version than the world creator had, so make sure your game is patched.
On the official site, Riverview is free but all of the other Store worlds are pay. All items on the exchange are free though, but the trouble is that you can never tell what content they used. I would suggest checking any worlds for CC with Custard:

It's always difficult to find worlds created with just a single EP. The reason for this is that most world creators seem to collect the EPs because of all the extra world features that they have. For example, World Adventures has lovely bridges, so most worlds seem to require that EP. Creators don't usually uninstall EPs just to make a world for people without those EPs, because world creation is such an involved and time-intensive process.
If you don't have any luck, you could always try creating your own world, click Create> Sims 3> Create A World at the top of the page to see our forum with topics about this.

Just wanted to add that the link above for the "World Index" topic on the EA Forum is a listing of worlds from around the community and the exchange. They are not worlds for sale at the Store. That topic is useful for finding worlds based on EP reqiurements.
I would agree that regardless of what the Creator posted as far as content, that you always check them with CUSTARD.

Ah yes, do check the worlds with Custard and keep in mind that Custard flags all world files as corrupted even though they are not corrupted. So you're mainly using custard to make sure you're not getting a bunch of custom content/corrupted custom content.
Everything I've linked to is free. Like cameanutz said, the world index at the official forums is comprised only of worlds made by other simmers.
