There are still fans posting on that page and that page needs to be back on business or something.

Well, why? What can we provide on facebook that we don't, or couldn't, provide here?

Just because something exists is not necessarily a good reason to use it. There is a huge list of more useful things, which are more beneficial to our members and other users, which we could be (and are) spending our time on.
