How do I uninstall Happy Holiday stuff?

I've recently reinstalled Sims2 and when I attempted to reinstall happy holliday stuff I found out that it was already installed but none of the content shows up in game or in bodyshop. I need to uninstall it in order to reinstall...I know it is an addon for the basegame but can't find the files to remove them..I'm using windows XP if that helps any. :help: I've seached the help files here and it seems that HH is a bit neglected.

It doesn't matter which Expansion Pack it is. Uninstalling Happy Holidays should work exactly the same as uninstalling any other stuff pack. They all install and uninstall in exactly the same ways. The discussion of how to deal with install/uninstall difficulties is here:

I recently had to use the FAQ and this board to help me with a reinstallation that didn't go smoothly after a crash, and though the FAQ processes look a little intimidating, when you sit down to do them, they aren't that complicated. Just stay calm, print out the instructions so you don't have to tab back and forth while poking in your file trees, and don't rush yourself. If you get into a serious problem, come back here, describe exactly what you did, exactly what happened, and then go get yourself some chocolate and read an old childhood favorite while you wait for a response.

If nothing else, typing out exactly what happened step by step often lets you see the problem for yourself.

HH is a ghost in my machine it's there but it is'nt I can't reinstall it untill I fnd whert's hiding. but thanks will keep searching all avenues. Would reset computer to default but I have'nt that option at this time.

If I remember correctly, the holiday pack is a special case. Its files are added directly to your base game folder. I believe that you just have to disable H05.bundle.package and H06.bundle.package under C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins. Be sure not to remove them permanently until you have verified that those are the correct files.

If you want to reinstall, you may have to remove the correct bits from the registry. However, I notice that there are no registry entries mentioned for the holiday pack in the uninstall FAQ:
