Is my game up to date?

My launcher says it's up to date, but I don't quite trust it.

On the bottom, it says: 10.0.96.013001.

When patches are listed, which numbers are they referring to, and how do I know I'm up to date by looking at them?

and when I hover over the Base Game icon, the number is 1.26.89.013017

Please help, I want to install the Story Progression mod from Twallan but not sure if I'm up to date.

Nope your base game is not upto date latest version is 1.33.2.015002
By the patch number you posted i suspect you have Pets and that is upto date.
You can get this tool (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=409829) to check & download patches.
Launcher update base game first then it update last installed expansion/stuff pack

EPs don't get patches any more, just the basegame, so you can totally ignore the EP version numbers. :)

There still is availible updates for the older ones, so if d/l a sims3pack that require a older EP to be updated to latest availible you can't install it, you will just get an error stating that you need to update game.
When installing a expansion/stuff pack it doesn't update the previous one it just update base game.
I resently did a complete reinstall of game and all expansion/stuff packs so i know some of them have updates.

Up to a point, yes - you can still download the old EP patches, but there aren't any new ones being released at all; so if your game was already fully patched when they stopped doing EP patches, you will never download a new EP patch. It shouldn't even be necessary to have the old ones installed now, but we all know what the Launcher is like...
