View Full Version : My simming today went something like this...

So, in my own little OCD way I listed all the Sims pre-made families on a Word Document and I use a random number generator to decide what family to play, and once they have all advanced one life cycle I change, and I cross them out on my list (I just have to add I haven't done this today, I have been doing it forever! I am nearly out of families to play!).
Anyways, after a lot of random number generating it generates the number of the Oldies and I thought...O great Elders! BORING!...
....until, I looked at their lifetime ambition thing and Herb's was 'Have 20 simultaneous lovers' and Coral's is 'Marry off 6 children'....AWESOME! :D
Coral is going to find Herb cheating and move in with Mary-Sue (who is now also a elder so I will have to cheat and make her not age whilst her parents do) and adopt 6 children as I don't think Mary-Sue will count.
Exciting times ahead :D.
I need said cheat to alter sims ages, and because SimPE doesn't like Windows 7 does anyone have a alternative idea?

There is a hack on this site, that allows you to pick of whom ages and who doesn't. So I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, and if it isn't I do apologize, and I'll keep looking around for you :)

I believe adopted children DO count. And I'm also pretty sure elders can adopt. So you may be able to manage Coral's LTW without cheating so long as you adopt older children, send them to college as soon as they're teens and keep her alive with elixer. :)

That would make for an interesting challenge, trying to get their LTW done with no cheating.
The only time I played them I aged them down to adult and gave them a couple of kids. They are a nice looking couple.
I have Windows 7 and simpe works just fine, so you must have something else going on there.

Have fun! I love playing default families now too. So funny the drama they get in. I made the elder goodie woman marry another woman younger than her, and they have a newborn baby, while the dude got kicked out.

So, I decided that I don't want Coral to be hurt and they should break up amicably and downloaded the Easy Break-Up mod...doesn't work for elders and couldn't find a mod that works, so I have to make Herb cheat, so he rung up Deliah O-Feefe for a date, just the same time as Coral was going to work, so she missed that, and the date ended at exactly the same time as Coral got back from work....great. Then the post man came and Coral read Delilah's love note and that didn't trigger for her to get mad and angry at Herb?! Sims is really stoopid sometimes.
I wanted it to be a little realistic, so I wanted Coral to catch Herb on a date from work. I didn't want him to just ask Delilah out on date randomly when Coral was there coz that's just to obvious.
But how can a love note NOT trigger her to go mental?! Bah...Sims. I have to try again, and that takes time and effort...

You could teleport her in sometime when he's on a community lot with a date.
Although I think there'd be considerable fun and suspense to be had out of him making a good-faith effort not to get caught, but cutting it fine.

I SimPE's it, I didn't realise it worked on Windows 7! (It always crashed on my PC before and I blamed Microsoft). I feel like a big fat cheater.

Nope, I don't like it, splitting them up, it feels wrong! I'm not going to bother with the LTWs. IRL if an elder adopted 6 kids they would die before they all got married, and Herb will die before trying to fall in love with 20 sims...oh well.

I lied! I'm doing it :P, building a huge house right now for Coral and her kiddies :D.

Heh, my Herb had that LTW but I decided to completely ignore it after looking in his memories and discovering that she's always been the only woman for him. If he can ignore his romace aspiration wants for that long, I'm not about to have him get up to mischief now! Anyway, all he wanted to do was date his wife anyway.
