"Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality.
But... there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real,
but not as brightly lit... a DARKSIDE.
The dark side is always out there waiting for us to enter, waiting to enter us.
Until next time, try to enjoy the daylight."
(don't ask why I didn't post this in media I dunno lol)
But anyway, what are some old shows you grew up with, and they made you think differently, etc?
I for one remember watching reruns of the good old shows, Bewitched, Batman 60s, and Addams Family, and I Dream of Jeannie (rather similar to Bewitched) quite a bit. I think these shows impacted my impression of families, comedy, and stuff, getting me interested in their various mythos. The Addams Family is probably my favorite series, as it offered good, wholesome, and fun elements. To this day I love those shows.
Another show I remember getting me interested in Medieval stuff back as a kid was the anime Berserk, which made me think about how people could fall, such as the character of Griffin who starts out as the good nice leader guy the strong female secondary character has a crush on, and turns into a disturbed psycho after being locked up, crippled, and tortured for a year, by the end killing nearly everyone that had worked for him except for her and her buddy and leaving them to die after having the buddy's arm removed.
And another one I watched was Lexx, a rather perverted and cheesy science fiction show that traveled around in strangeness until eventually looping around on itself. Now my question is to the other people of this lil group, do the shows we watch as kids influence us later and how? Now I think that the particular shows I watched gave me traits such as knowing women can be and are stronger than men, eccentric though good likeminded group theory, and more of a liking towards the times past rather than present.
