It all started with Error 16, which after encountering it the second time after a complete re-installation of Base Game and EPs, ended up making all of my Saved Games unplayable. It wouldn't allow me to load any of them. At all. So I had to delete them all and start from scratch and let me tell you, that hurts after the 6th time. Especially after powering through tons of missions in China, France, and Al Simhara.
After deleting all the save files I started over completely and had been playing just fine until I encountered odd lag issues. resetsim * fixed the lag issue most of the time. It's not a real hassle, but I figured to mention it just in case it could be a bigger problem.
Then today I tried traveling to Al Simhara and it will not let me. "Severe Loading Error". I even went to Edit Town and tried editing it to see if it'd even let me do that. It didn't. I even went back on a couple of my previous saves and it wouldn't let me go there. I deleted cache's and a few thumbnail files that a guide had said to, but that didn't help anything either.
--It does in fact let me edit and travel to China.
I cannot connect to Origin for whatever the reason. I realized I didn't have Origin installed but I still keep receiving the "Unable to Connect" message.
Along with all these other errors I also noticed in the top right corner where the Sims Adds usually are it says, "You need Flash to view this module." I have uninstalled and reinstalled it on multiple occasions but it still continues to say it.
Lastly, when I close the Sims Launcher, a Program Campatibility Assistant window pops up and says, "This Program requires a missing Windows Component. This Program requires flash.ocx, which is no longer included in this verion of Windows."
I've searched the net trying to fix even one of these problems, but it seems everything is just getting worse. I'm starting to not want to play anymore due to the constant fear of losing my extensive progress in-game.
I also made sure to remove the 3 things of Custom Content that I had for the game.
I MAINLY WANT TO THE LOADING ERROR FIXED. I really don't want to start all the way over with my progress in World Adventures. :(
