So I'm wondering... who here plays their game with scandals? Do you let your Sims have affairs, deal with baby-momma-drama, teen pregnancy, controversial relationships, etc?

Out of all the scandals you've had in your game, what is your very favorite? Give us the storyline, the characters, what happened and why it interested you so much. Even link some pictures if you want

I don't have many pictures because this happened quite a while ago and I've lost the world since, but this was by far my favourite drama, I felt like I was watching a Noire movie.

In my 1940's Bridgeport (I gave everyone makeovers and retro-fied everything) world I had an actress engaged to Matthew Hamming, they lived in the absolute lap of luxury:

Here's Matthew just after he proposed to her in the Chinese hotel restaurant with the paparazzi snapping a few pics.

So the actress was a pretty big deal, one day during a publicity stunt she met a guy ( I forget who, he was one of the default townies ) and they began having a torrid love affair. Pretty soon she was knocked up but she just pretended it was Matthew's baby. I think Matthew eventually caught the actress in the act and left her, despite having multiple affairs himself. The actress was forced to change her name and appearance to hide from the press, so she made a new life raising her baby with the guy she had an affair with:

It's a shame I lost that world, I miss it.

I love scandals! Makes the game more interesting. I don't have a favorite story, but illegitimate children are one of my favorite plot elements. I just like to experiment with the system and see what kind of reactions I get.

A 1940's Bridgeport sounds awesome! EA should have done that. Or a 1920's Bridgeport.

That 40's Bridgeport is just... <3.

Okay, the weirdest one I had was a previous game in Bridgeport where I enabled near-relation romance. I panned over to the hospital one day (my active sim was a doctor), and saw one of my non-active sims there walking out with her new baby. Turns out that it was fathered by her older brother. I didn't even have to try with that one.

However, I just annihilated the inbred spawn and tried to purge that from my mind.

I made a musician in Starlight Shores recently who slept with every attractive woman he met, then asked to just be friends afterwards. Except it wasn't woohoo, it was try for baby (except for the people in full houses) to date, he has 9 children. oh, and some of the women were married.

on that note however, the "child out of wedlock!" scandel you get as a celebrity annoyed me no end. i ended up downloading a mod to stop it. this is 2012, there are plenty of children born out of wedlock now, its no longer a big deal.

I 80's'd my Bridgeport, personally. It just fits. I want to do a 60's Twinbrook next.

My favourite scandal is so generic, it's the father of Claire Ursine's baby. I never bothered to remember which it was, so it was interesting romancing both of them until the kid popped out, and even then I was like . . . nah let's not look at the family tree ;D

I broke up the Goth family.... (insert devil emoticon here)

It started out really just on a whim that I decided to have it happen. I created this Flirty, Great Kisser, Hopeless Romantic, Insane, Slob named Mandy Avalon as someone different to play.

One day she done got her self pregnant by Gunther Goth. She needed money and thought it was a good idea. He asked her to move in with him and his wife Cornelia, as his mistress. Gunther was very excited for the new baby, Mandy and Mortimer got along great. He thought of her as "Auntie." Cornelia did not like the situation at all, but put up with it. The day finally arrived where the new baby was born. Everyone in the house was freaking out and Mandy ended up driving her self to the hospital. LOL one of those WTF moments where Gunther is like "Oh CRAP WHAT DO I DO?!?" Runs out to the car, then runs back into the house to run out to get a cab to go to the hospital because Mandy has already driven her self there, moments. LOL anyway, So little Damian Avalon was born! This is where it gets nastily interesting. After Damian was born reality sunk into Cornelia and she just could not take it anymore! A volcano erupted in the Goth Estate. Cornelia finally had her words with Mandy and Gunther. Gunther in the end had to choose between the two and he chose Mandy. Cornelia packed her bags and left with only one regret, Mortimer.

I stopped playing them right around Damians first birthday. Someday I'll get back to them. I think it adds a bittersweetness to Mortimers already doomed future. Its SUPER fun to play thats for sure LOL :) I uploaded some of the pics I took of the whole thing. These are of the fight. The thought bubbles where just TOO perfect! (I'm having dejavu, I think I might have told this story before here...hmmm)
