I know I can't really ask this here but I don't know where else to go since inteen doesn't have a place to ask, I'm having a problem with it. When the sim is about halfway through his teen years they are considered an 'adult' and no longer have to go to school. But for some reason that part has stopped working all of a sudden. At seven it says that the bus will come in an hour for them to go to school.
I looked through all my recent downloads and none of them were other mods that would interfere with it they were only recolors of furniture.
I then used the simblender to change into 'independant teen' to see if that would do anything and it did for a while but I then realized that instead of a teenager she was considered an adult and it said (7 days until ___ turns into an elder) so I aged them back to a teenager. I tried using simwardrobe's conflict detector but nothing came up as well. Is there anything else I can try that I haven't yet? :(
Also I thought I'd add in that if I'm playing my sim and she ages to the halfway mark during that game session it'll work but once I exit the game and play again it stops working.

Sounds like the no adult part of Inteen - did you install that part of the mod?

Yes, I did lol :P Like I said it was working before for a good while and now for some reason has stopped. And if I play long enough in my session for my teenager to pass that point it'll work but when I load up the game next time it doesn't.
Now that I think of it do you think an aging mod could be the cause of it? The only thing I could think of is a simlogical aging mod that changed the ages but I didn't even change the teenager section so I dont think it'd make difference..Also I remember reading about having certain mods load up first for the game in order to work or something perhaps I can do that to see if changes anything?

Code is complex and if age is going wonky, an age mod would be an obvious one to test, even if you don't see how it could matter. You may also have three or more mods that set up a peculiar and unforeseeable situation when working in conjunction, when they all work fine on their own. The only thing to do here is back up your game and make up your mind to test it with and without various combinations of mods.
If you take out all your cc except the mods being tested and use a test neighborhood, it'll probably go faster.

So I would have to make a teen and age them up to that age and exit the game to see if it works when I load it back up? I can still delete that neighborhood afterwards right? Just took out the age hack and its still doing it, I also moved the inteen mod to see if 'loading it up first' would change anything but nada so I guess I'm off to find what is causing this. :help:
Edit: Found out what caused it, thank god! :D It was a hack from simlogical to have your own school, I guess I'll have to take it out when I'm playing the families but put it back in when I do just the school.

That's kind of my point - the no adult part of Inteen keeps the teens as teens and giong to school. You have to actively install that particular tweek. By DEFAULT the teen sims will become 'adult' about half way through the teen stage.

Aging mods and sims's ages depend on the total life span, not just the length of the age stage. So, yes, if you shortened either the baby, toddler or child stages, the game will be reading the total age of your sim as relatively younger.
