Adding family ties with SimPE, have I missed anything?

Hello :)

So I have added family ties for 4 of my households using SimPE. I have:

1. Added the ties in the family tree (in the diagram bit like a spider)

2. Edited the relationships (to make them act like sisters etc.)

3. Added memories (given parents memories of giving birth)

4. Deleted memories (invisible attraction token from father to daughter, father's memory of daughter moving in etc.)

Do I need to do anything else? I haven't played my game yet since making these changes (and I backed up beforehand)

PS I just realised I didn't have the disc in when using SimPE :faceslap: does that matter?

No, the data you're dealing with is all in your neighborhood folder and SimPE doesn't need to open the game - won't work properly if it is open, in fact. Having the disc in or out makes no difference to it.

That looks like everything to me. Did you check under the relationship tag for everybody to make sure their status is consistent? It never hurts to double-check things. But it looks like you're good to go.

Oh I see. I get confused sometimes as to where things are saved, or where it gets the info from. I still kind of think there are actual little sims inside my laptop, and wonder what they get up to when I'm not there! lol!

Yay! Yeah I did. I might be a noob, but I'm a perfectionist, aka, ridiculously anal about things! I even wrote everyone down and ticked them all off. Plus I still don't trust computers ;)
