No lifetime wishes in CAS

I made a new family today, only to find out there was no lifetime wishes. They are white hearts and I cannot use any of them. I couldn't complete the family and I was forced to trash it. I am running the latest update and the only expansion pack I have is Pets. Could this be caused by a mod? Or is it EA's fault? Please help I really don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Check to see if you have a memory mod of some sort - I had the same problem and it turned out to be an outdated version of velocitygrass's 'No automatic memories' mod. I replaced it with an updated version of the mod and everything was fine again.

Yup that was it. It took me about 2 1/2 hours but I narrowed it down to that mod.
