I did a search on this site and can't find how you can upload Neighborhoods you created in the Sims 2. Is there a link where I can find it or not? Thanks to anyone who replies to this :)

In the menu at the top, select Create then Upload Items. Neighborhoods go under Misc / Neighborhoods & CAS Screens. However, before you upload, be sure to read the Creator Guidelines, also under the Create menu at the top of the window. There don't seem to be any specific guidelines for TS2 neighborhoods, so you should follow the guidelines for the individual components, like the terrain map, lots, sims, downloads, etc.

HAving trouble now..the RAR/ZIP file is 500MB! Is there a way I can split up the file into seperate parts?

500mb? Did you just archive the neighborhood folder (e.g. zip folder N001), or did you delete the character files folder and other unnecessary folders?

If you wanted to split the rar file, right-click the folder, then choose "Add to Archive" (assuming you're using WinRAR). Then under the "General" tab, find "Split to volumes, size", type 10 in the empty space, and choose "MB" instead of "B" for megabytes. It'll split the rar file into 10mb chunks and any leftover in the last file.

500mb? Did you just archive the neighborhood folder (e.g. zip folder N001), or did you delete the character files folder and other unnecessary folders? If you delete the character files without removing the appropriate records inside the neighborhood package, you will be shipping a corrupt neighborhood. Please don't do it. I have a tutorial for safely cleaning a neighborhood of all sims:
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=468987

Reducing the size of your neighborhood is far preferable to just splitting it into a ton of smaller pieces.

Along with removing all of the extraneous sims, there are other ways to reduce the size of your neighborhood. You might find this utility handy. It will reduce the size of each lot package:
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=426409

And there's no need to ship a neighborhood which has all of the default stealth neighborhoods attached, since everyone already has the stealth neighborhoods. Creating your neighborhood in an empty environment, such as the one created using the AnyGameStarter, will prevent these unnecessary stealth subhoods and make your shared neighborhood much smaller.

Ah yes, I used AnyGameStarter. 'Cause when I made my neighborhood world, there were no character files included. My bad, sorry about that.

JJcoolJ104, you really need to review the site rules:
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=289713

MTS prides itself on the quality of the downloads available. If you find the upload process too onerous, you'll probably find the acceptance process even more onerous. If your neighborhood is 500 MB, it may be an indication of a lack of care in creating the neighborhood.

So your sayin that all the time and effort I put in that neighborhood wont be accepted? I should just delete all the sims that are there since thats whats generating all the boxes most likely

No, I have no way of knowing whether your neighborhood will be accepted or not.

I'm just saying that 500 MB is quite large and may be an indication that you have a lot of default junk like generated townies, stealth subhoods, etc. which are inflating the size of your neighborhood.

My understanding is that you will have to document each lot and each sim that's included with your neighborhood, but I may misunderstand the upload process. Usually, neighborhood uploads are mutli-part uploads because of all the documentation that's required.

I can't seem to find the documentation about how to create a multipost upload, but I believe that you make your thread in the Create > Creator Issues forum and then let a moderator know when your upload is complete. [Update:] Check out "Upload in sets" here:
http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=MTS2:Creator_Guidelines/Lots_and_Houses

You might also find it helpful to look at other neighborhood uploads, to see the level of documentation required.

Stealth subhoods? This is complex here

Stealth subhoods are the invisible subhoods which are added by the later EPs (all EPs from Pets on).

You might find this discussion thread helpful. It talks about things that you can do to make a better (safer, smaller) shareable neighborhood:
http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=455403

Luckily, my technique for safely removing all sims from a neighborhood can also be used to remove the stealth subhoods, if you do all of the work within an empty environment.

If you want to keep some of your sims, you can either
1) delete the unnecessary sims using the safe deletion method at MATY or
2) remove all sims and then recreate the ones that you want using their appearances extracted from the old neighborhood using SimPE.
If you have few extraneous sims, use the first method. If your neighborhood is full of extraneous sims, use the latter method.

OK, I realized that my neighborhood is much to old to be uploaded and is most likely corrupted so I will stick with makin SC4 terrians

Honestly, safely clearing your neighborhood of sims isn't a huge task, and may fix a lot of the existing corruption, as well as reducing the size of your neighborhood substantially. Most neighborhood corruption is associated with sims.

Creating an empty environment is also quite simple, if you can use the AnyGameStarter.

Unfortunately, your Monopoly neighborhood has a sim with no user data:
User File Warnings:
Sim has no Character file: 0x0008 SimID=0x1C5525DDWow, thanks for pointing that out. I'm surprised the data was there. I guess I didn't delete the files properly.

Anyway, I re-uploaded my neighborhood. HoodChecker doesn't report any errors. If you're interested in testing it, you'd have to load the neighborhood first, then exit. The neighborhood file doesn't have Sim Descriptions added by the game yet (e.g. no Grim Reaper, Pollination Tech., etc). Once loaded, the neighborhood files will have the NPCs created.
