Hello. I had this issue that my sim was invisible when starting the game. However I got it fixed, but now when I start the game my sim is totally different looking than before. I use lot of CC but when I open the game, my sim is using default ea clothes etc.

When I edited him, he worked fine WITH the CC but when I shut down the game and restarted it later he was invisible again, I reseted him and he became visible but his appearance had changed again.

I tried to start the game without any CC cache files deleted, he was invisible, but when I reseted him he was really different looking than before. I took a picture too.. (http://aijaa.com/0008010384869) I added the numbers to clears things up.

1. That's what he looked like before I shut down the game (I saved it ofc)
2. Here he is, completely invisible. When I reset him, he looks like the green guy there.
3. I got his head visible after waiting a looong time.

When I took the picture the only mods I used were Nraas mods what are completely up to date, just like my other mods. I have ran dashboard and everything

I modified my bridgeport.world file to fix the routing issues according to this "mod" (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=452601) and I think I installed just like mods description said. After that my game told me that there were a serious problem with my world, and I took my copy of my sims 3 folder (what I copied before modifying the .world file) and replaced the modified folder with the non-modified copy.

The mods description said that the modified .world file must be put in program files and so I did, I don't see what would I have done wrong.

When I started a new game with the modified .world file, the were no "several error" messages etc and default sims were normal, but my sim with CC keeps disappearing etc.

I'm sorry because the long post and I really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I can think of something I would try, but it might not help, and might even make it worse. So it would be very important to back up the whole folder before trying it, just in case you need to get back to the way it is now.

After backing up, fix the sim's appearance and move the sim out of his house and into the sim bin. Then change households and use "move in household" to move him in. If he stays functional, you can try moving him back to his old house.

As I said, this has the possibility of giving you a messed up sim in the sim bin, and might even spread his corruption. Be sure you have a backup you can restore if that happens.
