I wasn't too sure where to put this but I have a Mac Book Pro and I've tried downloading several Mods, yet I am unable to install them because PowerPC products are not supported. So that would leave the mods useless...I looked through some threads and thought there would be a mac variant of windows clean installer but that was to no avail.

Is there any way to install the mods?

So you're having problems using the game's installer for sims2pack files? What exactly does the error message say?

I got the gist of it since Lion doesn't support Rosetta

"You can't open the application Package Installer because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

So I'm not too sure if theres another installer out there without having to go back to snow leopard

You could try the no-install version of the Clean Installer. However, someone else will have to help you to get a Windows app working on the MAC.
