Look at the magazine on the right of the middle top shelf with the green cover. It looks like the cover pictures are saying something about aliens and reptiles, or alien reptiles. I think it might be a reference to David Icke (http://encyclopediadramatica.se/David_Icke), what do you think?

That's a peanut, isn't it?

No, it's definitely a lizard. I've never seen a peanut looking like that.

Reptiloid aliens were around before Ickes, so it's as likely to be generic. Now, if there were a recognizable picture of one of the British Royal Family on there, that'd scream "Ickes."
Somebody on the creative team for 1 and 2 had a lot of Fortean interests, but for accessibility's sake they'd want to keep it at the pop-culture level, I think. And few Americans know about Ickes.

I'm one of those "tinfoil-hat" types...but David Icke is just disinfo.
I'm descended from Edward III but I haven't experienced any shapeshifting yet...

This being told him that reptilian beings who had broken out from another dimension were posing as world leaders in an effort to bring about a New World Order.
Well that explains David Cameron's abnormally smooth forehead then. I'm convinced.

And we have a winner.
Did you know The Turquoise One used to be a professional footballer (soccer-player for the Yanks)? He also claimed once to be God. I like the Ickes - one of our proudest exports. We just hope he stays exported, that's all.

How have not heard of this guy? I'm usually good with knowing my wackos, but this guy's fallen off my radar somehow. Maybe it's because I haven't watched TV for almost 20 years now. But anyway...
Yeah, I'm thinkin' that's probably too subtle of a reference. Aliens who look like reptiles (But who act like bugs; the life cycle of the "Alien" alien is very obviously modeled after that of a parasitic wasp. ) have been a mainstay of sci-fi for...forever. Almost as forever as the "little green man."

Yeah, Icke says Jesus never existed, so He couldn't have married Mary Magdalene and started the "Merovingian" line, and he claims to be the Son of God. Huh!?
(Actually, Jesus did/does exist, but He never got married.)
In my game, I pretend aliens are government genetic experiments gone awry...and of course Knowledge Sims want to know all about it....

Not trying to get into a debate but as a staunch atheist I am almost postive the Big J never existed. I recommend the documentary "The God Who Wasn't There." At one time you had to either buy a copy or get a free one by denying the Holy Spirit but in the last few years it's available free on Youtube.

Title from DavidIcke.com: Welcome to Our New Lizard Overlords: Study Suggests Alien Worlds Could Be Full of Super-Intelligent Dinosaurs
He's not entirely unknown over here, but I can't remember how I first heard of him and his reptilian agenda thingy.

Definitely agreed even though I believe Jesus was a myth. This guy is a typical woo warrior.

But is the mag cover a reference to him? If so, it's an extremely subtle one.

I'm going with 'yes' because it's one of those things that should be true :)

"I think it might be a reference to David Icke, what do you think? "
I don't think, my reptilian overlords prohibit thinking

Ok, I think I found an easter egg (not sure if it was mentioned before): The Heli pad's name is based on Arnold Schwarzenegger's famous phrase. Right?
ETA: Since this is an actual easter, better post it in the appropriate thread.
