Modifying Loading/splash screen?

I have a question.
Recently I got sick of the M&G Start up loading/splash screen, And would like to change it. I found a tutorial on how to change the music that plays, and set it to play the splash music from OFB, but was wondering if this same method can be applied to the other factors of the screen?
Ideally, id like the base game plain "Sims 2" loading/splash, with the scrolling text from one of the EPs or SPs, or maybe the basegame also, Ill have to read what they all say and choose. I know it was possible in the sims 3, and was wondering if its possible for sims 2.

It is possible to replace the logo and make your own scrolling text if you familiar with simpe,Luka94 (http://modthesims.info/member.php?u=2544554) also made some replacement and they are compatible with any game version..take a look

Oohh, those are nice. The sims 3 one IS kind of tempting, but im afraid ill have to pass. Im fairly familiar with SimPE, so if you know of a tutorial to do this Id love to see it. Thanks for the link.
