Hi to all the comunity of MtS!

I have a problem with some sims3packs. First of all I want to say that I read ALL the Faqs and ALL the guides of the website to try to solve, but there isn't anything that have helped.
So,I downloaded some sims3pack from the sims store and I put them in /Downloads as always, than I started the launcher -> Download: I select them, press "install" everything go great (Installation Complete 100%). But when the window is closed, the symbol-mark that should be near the installed things there isn't...as If I didn't installed anything...
Could anyone help me pls? :help:

Thx in advance for your future answers

Reading the FAQs isn't going to help, you've got to do them!

Did you do each step (related to sims3packs) of this one: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:GCCTSU3_Start ?

I too have this problem. I had to reinstall all of my sims3packs to recover from malicious exchange content, and none of them will install. It goes through the process of installing them, it shows files in my DCBackup an DCCache and InstalledWorlds folder shows all of my installed worlds, but they don't actually work in game. I even went as far as to completely re-install Sims 3 on my system. No success yet. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Well, by reading I assumed reading. :) It's not uncommon for people who post on these forums to have only read, not done the faqs, so it's a logical thing to assume.

Since you've done that faq, you saw what was posted near the top:

This FAQ covers ALL KNOWN SOLUTIONS to custom content not showing up.
Follow the steps of this FAQ in order.
Don't just read it but DO THE STEPS as they are given!
If you follow this FAQ to the letter and not only read it but do everything it says, your content should work.
Please do not post on the forums if your content is not showing up - we will not have any additional suggestions and will only refer you back to this FAQ!

If it weren't store content I would suggest trying a sims3pack extractor rather than using the launcher. But I'm not sure if they can handle Store content.

I tried the 3rd part program suggested in the Faq but it doesn't give any result.

I just asked if someone could give me some help,'cause I did everything in that FaQ but nothing helped me so I asked some help here. Obviously you are not one of that people I'm asking for, since that you are just replying me spamming about the FaQs :gjob:
Just hope in some help.

Gabrix, it's great to see someone doing the faqs before posting. Unfortunately, that's a somewhat rare occurrence here, which is why I pointed you towards them.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, but after those steps it should be working, so I'm out of ideas.

Yes, you have done everything that we know of to get the launcher to install a sims3pack. It should be working now.

I suppose you could try using the recompressor from MATY on -copies- of them. http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15129.0.html
If it works, great! If not, you still have the original packs to try to figure out something with.
