TS3 Downloads not showing up in Game Installer

So I am way too used to TS2's way of downloading things, and it seems like TS3 is way different when it comes to CC. :|

I have downloaded custom content onto my TS3 before, running great. I decided to add more CC, but all of the new things didn't show in the Game Installer. :blink: I was following all of the instructions right, the same way I did before with the original CC I installed, all in the right spot.

I decided to delete all of my CC and just re-install the framework that creates the Mod folder and I un-installed all previous content. Went "shopping" again for all new content, extracted everything correctly into the right spots, but in Game Installer NOTHING shows up. I tried doing everything one .package file at a time, and nothing. I don't get it. :wtf:

It's sounds like you're having trouble installing .package CC.
If so, try doing this faq: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Not_Working. If it's still not showing up, post the info it asks for so someone can figure out what's going on.

And remember that only sims3pack, not package, CC is displayed in the Launcher. The only way to check whether or not your package CC is installed properly is to actually go in-game and check whether or not it's working/showing up in the catalogue.
