:alarm: First let me say, yes Mods, I looked though the Help Section. It didn't help me at all. :alarm:

Ok, so I just decided to reinstall TS2 Double Deluxe to my laptop today. Last time it was on, I also had Sim City 4 installed and it slowed down my computer drastically. I decided to uninstall both not knowing which game was causing problems. Well, I got rid of Sim City 4, and reinstalled TS2 and now I'm getting something completely different.
I start up the game, it loads, I get to a BLUE screen, and nothing else happens. I waited 2 minutes, pressed the "Windows" button on my keyboard and got an error.
TITLE: The Sims Store Edition
Info:
The application has crashed. The application will now terminate.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing, updated EVERYTHING, went though the Help Section looking for the Cache files to delete and they weren't there.

What do I do now? I also re logged onto my computer to see if that would fix it and nothing. Same error and everything.

You will need to wait when it comes to posting in the help section, so go back there and post your issue there.

Anyway, apprently you have the store edition right?

Well, I don't have that edition, but I think that as you are installing, you are given options about which content to install, right? If so, untick the store edition, i.e. don't install the store edition, just the base game. I have read that people were facing issues with that edition.
