For about 2 years my games have worked just fine then about a month ago I was getting an error "sims 3 unable to start game please reinstall the base game" So I did but it didn't work so I did what I really didn't want to have to do. I back up'ed all my CC and uninstalled all the games then re-installed. Then I ran the system requirement test just to make sure all was fine and I passed the test the highest you can pass it. Before I added an CC back I tried running the game and was super excited it started right up but as soon as I pick a town and it loads everything gets all choppy...all the graphics are chopped up...can barely see sims in Sim creator cause he/she is full of so many wholes. It says my games are up to date, I downloaded patches...and made sure all my drivers were up to date...don't know what else to do :(

I don't see anything about a graphics card in there. DO you have a separate card, or integrated graphics?

That model doesn't come with a graphics card - did you install one yourself?

There is a bug in the 12.4 drivers, which can cause issues like this on some cards, AMD have released a hot fix:
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst124ahotfix.aspx
Though The Sims 3 isn't listed in the affected game, others have reported issues with the 12.4 drivers, so try the hot fix, if that doesn't work, uninstall and install 12.3.

Those can you run it tests are unreliable. Your graphics card can't handle the game. If you take a look at the system requirements (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements) here on MTS, you'll see your card listed as a "maybe" for the base game and "no" for everything afterward.
I recommend you read the following:

You should still check out those articles I linked. Playing without a real graphics card can damage your computer, even if it is working now.

OK I sure will! That's what I was worried about. Thanks.
