Hiding Sims3Packs from the catalog?

I've been following this (http://club-crimsyn.dreamwidth.org/59833.html) super helpful tutorial in hiding packages from the catalog once they've been added to a collection to help clear out clutter. My only problem is I have a lot of clutter that is in Sims3Pack form, and I was wondering if there was any way to hide that from the catalog as well. Thanks!

I guess you could convert the .Sims3Pack files to packages using Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Multi Extracter (http://www.modthesims.info/d/364038) and use the same method...
