Body Shop. Need Help!!

Soo, I kinda know how to use Bodyshop..but not really. I exported or whatever it is the outfit, and opened it up in paint. Pulled up the color drawing, which my friend said you should do, and the I started to recolor using paintbrush...I completed my picture and saved it ect into the folder. But when I tried to import it to the game the outfit had not changed one bit. Could anyone tell me what I've done wrong??
Am I supposed to replace the old color drawing with the new one?

yeah you have to save over that picture with the new recolour otherwise it wont change. :)

Remember to save it as same file as the original. Bmp or what is was again. But dont save it as a jpg. :-)
And dont worry. Im newbie also.. :(
