(SOLVED) How do I change camera options in MAC?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my question...I read all the forum rules, hope I'm not mistaken...

Well, I play Sims 3 in a MAC OSX and I would like to make a machinima, my only problem is that MAC is not equal to Windows. I don't have any VideoCamera.ini file so I could change the camera speed and stuff. It might be because of installed expansion packs or because it's in a MAC, I think it's both...

I've been searching and I found a lot of tutorials about how to record in Sims 3 and about that file (VideoCamera.ini) but they all refer to Windows users and to directories that I don't have.
In my game I have these expansion packs:

World Adventures

Late Night

Ambitions

Pets

But I only have one directory which is Sims 3.
Documents/ Electronic Arts/ Sims 3

There's no folder named "Game" or "GameData" and there's no "Nonpackaged" inside of it. Anything!

The only "ini" files I have are: WorldPresets.ini and Options.ini

I thought my game have made a substitution of VideoCamera.ini file for Options.ini, something like that, but that Options.ini file is not equal to VideoCamera.ini, it has other options related to the Sims age and that sort of stuff.

I've searched everything and in everywhere and I can't find a tutorial to help me. I really need that file...or a way to change the camera options...

If anyone knows or has any idea of what I should do, leave a comment I will be glad to read or suggestion! :)

If you are looking for something inside GameData, you are looking for the Electronic Arts folder that would be in Program Files for a Windows user. I have no idea what it's called on a MAC, but it's the Electronic Arts folder that is -not- in Documents. And it sounds as though that system is in effect on a MAC as well, because we don't have GameData in our DOcuments/Electronic Arts folder in Windows, either.

This kind of thing is why gamers don't respect mac users...You can't even find the install directory?

When you were installing the game, surely it asked you where to install it to? What did you tell it? And if it didn't ask you, then...well, lol.

DO you have a way to check for hidden files and folders? Maybe it's hidden on a MAC?

I have a way to search for hidden files, which is very effective. And, for the other user, I know where I installed Sims 3.

All that you install, in MAC, stays in Applications (the program) and the files related to the program stays in Documents. Is that easy. The problem is that, because Sims 3 is installed in a MAC (I think it's this) I only have one directory, unique.

In a tutorial I saw that people who have expansion packs and are searching for the VideoCamera.ini file have to search it in the last expansion directory, which I don't have. Do you understand?

MAC is very simple, too much easy sometimes. I simply don't have that file (VideoCamera.ini) and I don't know if it's because the expansions installed replaces files for others or if it's because I only have one directory and that file is missing...

I haven't had an OSX install of Sims 3 for a while now, since I run it on my Boot Camp partition.

However, if I recall correctly, if you right-click on the Sims 3 icon it installs in Applications and select 'Show Package Contents' it opens up like the folder it actually is - and from there you should be able to navigate to the various resources just as if it were a Windows install.

I don't think there's an app which allows you to modify things as well as s3pe in Windows, though.

After I sneaked in the Contents folder in Applications I could finally find the VideoCamera.ini file and it's all working properly in game!

Now I can record with quality :anime:
