Naked Bottoms

Ok i know wrong idea right? Well the issue is this, there is a clothing part that some like to see sims walk around half naked just their pants missing but who is the one who makes them because i can't seem to remove it or find it in my files to remove, its rather annoying just like the issues i had with the Centaurus stuff.. :( Can someone give me a hand here and give me the name of the creator or.... title of said clothing?

this is why downloading from the Exchange should be outlawed.

As pointed out by the fine sir (lady?) above, this may be a problem with downloaded sims from the exchange. Have you been downloading from the exchange lately?

I so feel your pain! And that normally helpful link that Simsample provided may not help at all because CAS CC can be invisible. It's most likely part of a sim you downloaded and installed.

You can try using Custard on any sims you've installed lately. If you're lucky you might find the part your looking for, find out the long alpha-numerical name (if it shows up, custard will list the alpha-numeral identifer), then track it down in your dcbackup folder and nuke it. Oh, after you've uninstalled the sim, of course.

Failing all that, you can rename your The Sims 3 folder and start a new game; a new one will be automatically generated. But you will lose everything you have downloaded so you will have to redownload all your Store and other custom content. You will need to be picky about what you reinstall since a sim in your downloads folder has the naked bottoms. If its a recent problem maybe you can separate your downloads by date and just not reinstall anything that has a more recent date.

Great link! I knew that Crin had a blog about the bad cc but didn't realize she had IDs on them.

I have two hairs that keep haunting me and I NEVER see them listed anywhere. One of them is an adult/YA long female hair that keeps showing up on my toddlers. As you might imagine, adults are much taller than toddlers so the god aweful thing floats above their heads. :wtf: The thing does not even show up on Custard at all.

The other is the base game EA female hair with the bangs that someone decided would look good on males. :rolleyes:

The only way I've found to get rid of them is to re-create my Sims 3 folder. But since I can't identify which CC hairs are the culprit this is the second time I am going through this crap. No wonder so many people just refuse to use CC in TS3. EA did an absolutely crappy job of allowing us to manage it.

Some sort of monkey I'm guessing. I'm curious how I would get a Sim with a naked bottom since I don't use CC.

When Cornelia Goth became Elder, I used Master Controller to put her into CAS to change her outfit, when she came up she had a top part to her outfit but not a bottom part to her outfit and the bottom part was not blurred, but there were no clothes. I changed the outfit so that she had a top and bottom to her everyday, but how did she not have a bottom part to her everyday outfit?

If you have Master Controller, it is possible you had the Clothing Filters disabled.
