View Full Version : Using Mono with Delphy's Dashboard: not working

Hello,

After several attempts to load my game without any graphic bugs, I finally concluded that there certainly are some conflicts with my mods.
When I was on Windows, I'd use Delphy's Dashboard to scan my packages and find out which was the culprit.
So now that I am on Mac, I found that it's still possible to use Dashboard with Mono.

I installed Mono, and when I type in Terminal "mono" + space and then drop the Dashboard.exe on Terminal, this is what I see:

Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred.
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.TypeLoadException: A type load exception has occurred.

I tried with the old extra line "MONO_MWF_MAC_FORCE_X11=1" but it made no difference.

How can I solve this problem?
Is there any other method to scan package conflicts ?

Do you still need help?

Then, please post :
- What version of Mono?
- What version of OSX?

And there may be more to the error text, can you post a screencap of the terminal window showing the error messages?

My Mono version is the latest stable version 2.10.x , and my OSX version is 10.6.8
This is the screencap of the error message:

I used the instructions found in the Mac forum, so I installed Mono, opened Terminal, typed "mono" then a space, and dragged the dashboard.exe onto the Terminal, and got this error message. Did I do something wrong?

2.10.what?

And Dashboard files are all extracted to your Desktop? There should be 4 files when you unzip the download, and they need to remain together.
