Film actor not available

I tried to make my Sim an actor, but i can't find the place where i can start the career.

you need the Plumbob Backlot Studio lot. It isn't automatically in every town. check your community lots in edit town to place it

It's not in Starlight Shores or whatever they call it. I placed the lot ButchSims mentioned. I think there's one 60x60 lot in the world, but I didn't find it 'til I had already bulldozed one of the many parks and placed it.

Plumbob Studios is 64x64, you'd have to place an appropriately sized lot for it anyway.

Bit late to this but this movie career lot http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=424676 is a more user friendly size for worlds other than Bridgeport.
