Im going to apologise 1st if this is in wrong place but google is being no help with me, so BIG SORRY in adavnce!

Right my problem is im trying to extract the DDS.exe in the Gimp folder and everytime i do, WinRar gets all up in my face and goes "Acess denied!" or "system path could not be found" Even though ive follwed the simple instructiosn the Text file says :-

"To install, extract these files to your GIMP plugins directory.
This directory is usually located at:
C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins"

And i do this and download the source code and it refuses to be extracted anywhere. I also have the right plugin (though both give same error!)

I really need help from someone who is a modder or who has done this as i really wanna start making my own CC but its things like this that stick a spanner into the works!!

So please, anyone with any helpful ideas, please help!! :help:

If you have Vista or Win 7 then it could be that your UAC is preventing Winrar from writing the files. Try extracting them to the desktop and then copying them there; you'll need to give administrator access to do that.

Ive just done this now but when i go into the tattointater to find the DDS plugin it is still missing not showing up there. And its up there working fine in GIMP.

Could this be a fault with the Tattointater Creatoer or my pc just being its usual breaking down self? :faceslap:
