Another EIG crash

Im working for a couple hours in caw, going in and out of EIG, then suddenly while loading EIG it exits, saying a problem caused sims 3 to stop working and windows will close the program. I tried loading a diffrent map and it goes into EIG without problems. I retraced the original map, loading backup after backup, until I found (3 autosaves back) one that goes into EIG normally. I then tried step by step every change I made since then, and entering EIG every time. Result: IT STOPS WORKING AFTER I DELETE A SPECIFIC LOT (just an empty lot, I started building but realised I needed it bigger). So what the heck? Once I delete that lot, the map cannot be loaded into EIG anymore, no matter what I try. Ruined forever. Have to go back to that back-up copy(luckily I didnt over-write it but saved under a new name each time) and start over.
Anyone have a solution? How to get the map to start working in EIG again?

BTW, i cleared the caches and mods folder, no use. Didn't install no new CC or patch when this happened.

When you delete that lot in EIG mode, or in CAW?

Whichever, try the other.

So, if you deleted the lot in EIG and then EIG crashed, try removing the lot in CAW and then entering EIG mode.

I deleted it in CAW. Now its gone and I CANT enter EIG anymore. It shuts down every single time.

Ah, okay. So now delete your game caches (Sims 3) and the CAW caches, and try again. Also, if you've added any CC or mods lately, bear in mind that EIG will read all of those files, so try it with your game mods removed.
