K, so I bought the MultiTab 6000 at the Sims Store, and decided to do a little something to it. Problem is that while I did seem to get the UV mapping right, replacing the vanilla mesh with the one I whipped up ends up with the screen not working. Altering, or just merely re-importing the vanilla model works, though, when I tried removing a few vertices off the tablet:

Do I need to do something with my custom model, i.e. shader fixes or some other tool?
EDIT: The screen does indeed work, although it appears to be z-fighting (i.e. flickering) with the black texture when I zoom far enough.
EDIT 2: Apparently the screen now works when I adjust the iPad's position so that it's flush with the original mesh's screen position. I think this is somewhat similar to the issue with angular mirrors. To put it another way, the issue's essentially solved, but for legal reasons I might not end up submitting the mod as it's based on a Store item.
EDIT 3: Screen ain't flush to the iPad, as it appears to be displayed on yet another mesh. Problem is, the mesh seems to be nowhere to be found. Inge pointed me on a possible object named _FX_0_screen with an instance key of 0x00000000FC58C41A, but it doesn't appear to be present anywhere on the game's archives, let alone on the package.
