I just read this in the Wiki, regarding Nancy Landgraab, and I don't know how to do this. I didn't know firing a sim was even possible, so how do you do it? (I fail at search, got sims burning... wrong kind of fire.) Hm... by the wording, I'm wondering if it's autonomous?

Wiki quote: "In some games, Nick is Nancy's boss, and/or vice versa, though they always have the same job position. And Nancy would imminently fire Nick, and vice versa."

I do not think this is talking about the actual game, because this is not actually part of the real game.

So... what is it supposed to be referring to?
And can a player cause a sim to be fired?

Yes, you can fire a sim, if the sim works in the right (Or wrong, for the sim) career field...

Buy a partnership in their career rabbit hole.
Now buy out the other partners.

Now that you own the entire building outright, you can rename it, or even fire sims that work there. But it's not autonomous.

Otherwise, I suppose a sim can get fired if their job performance is too low for too long. I've never had that happen because I make sure they go to work and start getting a good relationship with the boss and other co-workers. But it's still probably not something that takes place between two sims while you are watching. It would be more like the pop-up you get when you get promoted.

Thanks, Ghost. That's cleared it up for me.
