Hi, I was wondering if there was another way of installing Lucky Palms WITHOUT the latest patch. I would install it, but as people say, it can ruin custom content. :faceslap:
I have the Base Game -> Master Suite Stuff (No HELS pack, though)
I run a patch 1.28 version of the game.
If there is another way, please post it here.

The latest patch doesn't ruin custom content. I think you've gotten some misinformation.

Any patch will require that many gameplay mods be updated.
The only patch that caused serious issues for other kinds of CC, though, were Late Night, which broke a lot of custom doors and windows, and Pets, which changed the rigs for a lot of object types. Nothing since then has caused issues beyond some XML and script mods.

Ah, but they're at 1.28 and I believe Pets was 1.29.

Didn't Master Suite Stuff come out after Pets? Hence my confusion.
Anyway, all you need to do to fix most of the Pets CC issues is run Granthes's Rigfix... that will take care of everything except beds and tubs... for those, you just have to look for updated versions from the creator (and really, everybody that's active did an update).

[Pets] was Patch 1.26 . [Master Suite] was Patch 1.29

Master Suite was the patch 1.28 actually. The 1.29 patch was released before MS, presumably because of all the Pets bugfixes in the 1.29. So most people have never had the 1.28 patch level in their game, it is more or less the Unknown Patch.
Players who did not update to the 1.29 when it was released in December, and then installed Master Suite, ended up on this 1.28 patch level.

OP is probably talking about this issue: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/561261.page
All Store Worlds have dependency objects bundled with the worlds, I don't know why this time, uninstalling Lucky Palms without uninstalling the dependent object would crash the whole Launcher and maybe corrupt your CC installs while at it.
There has also been grumblings that the Exchange Server is corrupting Sims3Packs downloaded from there. But I don't know what exactly or how the CC is corrupted, as I stopped reading at the word "Exchange". :p
Regarding Store stuff needing a certain patch version, it is minimum of level 015 (1.31-1.33 series): as stated in each Store page: * Please note that you need FREE game update 1.5.0.015000 in order for this content to work.

Well if you want to get really specific : [Pets] was actually Patch 1.25 .

So, Lucky Palms would need 1.34 or upwards.
