Try removing CC from the Sims3pack, and adding it to a shopping list.

Sounds like it's probably chock full of custom content - you can probably cut down the file size by getting rid of the custom stuff on it that you don't need. Most downloaders don't want to download a lot with a ton of custom items; pare it down to just what is absolutely necessary for the look of the lot, then re-package it.

Sims3Aack is the standard one with Export right? Do you know a way to remove CC from being included in the download? It's all MTS stuff too . Are there any alternatives, because the majority of it is needed. I planned on putting it in a 'shopping list' anyway, I didn't know CC was included in the file. I did do this in the right place right, I mean it isn't somewhere else?

There's a few ways to not include/remove cc in/from a export:
If it's from sims3packs, remove the files in DCBackup except ccmerged and game won't include them in the export.

This one is obvious, since most is from here, move the package-files out from your mods folder and start up game and they will be replaced with the default item the cc was cloned from or removed it if that's not possible, if it's a save you play on make a backup of it before removing the package-files from mods folder, either by using save as in game or by simply coping the save folder to another location, to avoid removal of stuff in other lots
.
Rename the current The Sims 3 folder in (my) Documents folder and let game/lancher make a new one, copy the save where the lot is placed to the new one and since there no cc in the new folder game will do as above described above.
Use AnyGameStarter3 from here and make a new profile, then same as above.

Use Clean Up Sims3Packs Today! Also raises dead? (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=390235) to remove items from the exported sims3pack, be aware though program is still in beta so things can go wrong, so try the open the sims3pack again after removing stuff, if it won't open again something went wrong and could possible give issues.

Do the solutions above require custom tools/applications that need to be downloaded? And I want the majority of the CC i placed on my lot to be there, i just didnt want it to be included in the download, i just wanted it ton replace it with default items if the end-user did not have/want them. I mean it was only the rabbithole rugs/doors they need and i put a few items for the feel of the lot. Ill see if it installs a load of unwanted CC when i put it on with a clean game, if so, ill take further action.
PS it is a 64x64 Community Lot with lots of plants (around 20-35), carspots(15-25) and dustbins (6) etc. as well as shop displays. It was supposed to emulate a Retail park. Just as a side note

Some do, AnyGameStarter3 & CUSTARD are both tools that are found on this site.
The renaming & moving package files are done with your files/folders so nothing needed then.

I do want the CC to be there, just not to be installed when you install my lot, if that makes sense? Because It'd probably replace the signs and DJ booths with ugly EA objects, not to mention removing the Rabbithole rugs & doors that the lot needs to work. If you know right?

This is why you use a shopping list. The lot still has spots that are "labeled" for the CC that you used.

If you remove CC from the package, the game will look for the objects that the lot needs. If it finds them in Packages or in the DCCache, it will add them. If not, it will replace them. You can test this by removing the CC from the package, and then installing the cleaned version of the lot. (By the way, since the Rabbithole rugs and doors are package files, they are probably not included anyway.)

As long as your downloaders have all the needed CC, they can install the lot with no issue, even if you cleaned it completely.

Belzader gave you a link in post 5 to CUSTARD, which is a tool that you can use. Open the original sims3pack that is too large with CUSTARD. (Don't you love Delphy's names for things?) You should see a screen with a list that is populated with everything that the sims3pack is including. It should also show a small box with a check mark in it next to each item to show that everything is selected.

De-Select anything that isn't your lot. (You click on the box to remove the mark, or use the button to unselect all, and then add the lot back in.) Then save (or save as___) your newly cleaned sims3pack.

And be sure to test the new pack, as things could have gone wrong. (Including human error: it's really easy to accidentally clean your package of everything including the lot!)
