I bought The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, H&M Stuff, and University Collection on Origin, but to download them I had to delete The Sims 2 (base game) manually. So I deleted the EA Games folder and I thought that was it, but when I installed Double Deluxe and every other EP, there was an EA Games folder, but there were only four (empty) folders in it.
When I started the game it would play the opening video, but when it got to the loading screen, it just said The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, and that was it. I left it two hours and it didn't even start loading.
I uninstalled it, removed the registry entries and everything, the whole works. But it's still doing the same thing whenever I reinstall it.

Anyone know a solution to this? Thanks in advance.

You have since Uninstalled manually following our Game_Help:Uninstall FAQ, after deleting the folder?

Does the Collection digital download also supply patches for the game(s)? If not, you can get them from www.simprograms.com

That would make Ikea Stuff the last released pack according to release date? Have you tried to start the game with the Collection game in Origin, or the shortcut? Or even better, bypass Launcher and use the Ikea Stuff's .exe file? Game_Help:Bypassing_Launcher
If you still need help, please post in Sims 2 Help with an image of this EA Game folder with the 4 empty folders. You'll find the link to the forum on every header and footer of the Wiki Help pages. Be sure to supply the answers I asked in here, plus whatever steps you've tried in your attempts to solve it.

If you'd read the Announcement, this is for Computer (Hardware) & (non-Sims-related) Software Technical Support. Locking.
