Crashes when loading family

The game loads fine up until the point when I get into my neighborhood.

When I click on my family, it loads and goes through the whole loading process and then it keeps the hourglass and music playing and you still see the loading screen. I get impatient and finally just close the game.

Can anyone help? Any ideas? Anyone had this problem?

I am having the same problem right now.

Ugh, the same thing happens to me. When I restart I can get to my family and such, but time is frozen. I don't have any hack installed either. Just some skins and stuff from WellDressedSim and it should be okay with the EP.

Check your downloads folder and make sure you have no Career hacks. That's what was causing the same thing to happen when I installed Uni. Also, check out daysies thread on this. There's a link on the home page.
