Help! My sims are fuzzing!

Hey, I really wanted help with this one issue. My sims' clothes, hair and makeup keeps switching from fuzzy and blurred to normal. With the hair, it's just the downloaded hair that is a problem, with makeup and clothes, it doesn't matter. I think the problem is the game temporarily switches from high to low quality graphics in specific areas, but it's really annoying! It happens even in the create a family screen.

PLEASE HELP ME TO FIX THIS! Thanks in advance, because it's really annoying when I want to take pictures etc.

i had this problem and found out that the screen size in the game settings was wrong - i now have it on 1024x768. i had to manually adjust the monitor to centre the game screen.

I had the same problem. I found that updating the computer's graphics card did wonders for the game.

I had this same problem and it really sucks when trying to film scenes for sim movies when the characters' clothes are all blurry. I have tried several screen sizes (including 1024x768) and several refresh rates and it still happened. I'm going out on a limb and saying it might have something to do with virtual memory settings since my sims always start out nice and neat when I first load the game then become blurry thru playing... if I get anything more concrete I'll let you know.
