Sims Freestyle for tips, but no one tips

My sim has tried several times to make money by freestyling but no one ever tips. My sim's skills are all 100% maxed out (with the help of the thinking cap and energizer), other sims seem to enjoy the performance but they never tip.

i think it might be because that wants and fears bar might be down cos if its down u cant go to class or your final exam but thats just a guess
