The toddler won't grow up!

(I'm sorry if this question has been asked before and I missed it while I was looking.)

One of my sims had a baby and I grew her up normally into a toddler. When I was using the toddler mirror though, she disappeared so I exited the lot and went back. The toddler was there again but when you clicked on her it only had baby actions (cuddle, play and whatever the other one is) even though she looked like a toddler. And it wouldn't even let the other sims in the house interact with her when you clicked on those. I tried growing her up with the InSimenator, but even that wouldn't work, and I tried several times. She just lays there doing nothing. Does anyone know what's wrong with it or how I can fix it? Thanks so much if you do :)

this has happened 2 me a couple of times but usually the sim just snaps out of it did u try deleting her with the move objects cheat and then going back into the lot? or letting her get adopted and then filing for adoption to get her back into the household?

Did you having aging off when you grew her up? If so, turn it on, that can cause the growing up to fail.

I also had this happen. After trying the delete the toddlers (twins), I ended up having to go into SimPE and fix it there. For some reason, the game was treating them as babies. I changed them back to toddlers and all was fine.
