Mod The Sims - Baby won't age

Whenever I create a couple in CAS, or have them get married in game, the first child they have refuses to grow up. I'll bring it to cake, the parent will do the little dance, and then just stands there. I tried to buy another birthday cake, but I had no option to bring the baby to the cake. I used boolprop, even made the baby selectable and clicked Grow Me Up, but it won't grow up! I don't want the baby to be taken by the social worker, but maybe thats my only choice.

The last time I downloaded the Insiminater (sp), it made my game crash and thats when my non-aging problem began. Please, help. :( Sorry if I sound newbish. I was looking through the pages to see if there was a thread related to this, but I don't have time to go through 85 pages of complaints. Thank you.

Have you made sure aging is on? Bring up cheat box(control, shift, c) and type aging on. Some people have had to move out of the house and back in to get them to age. Might try moving any hacks you have out and try the grow-up option again.

Are you on a University lot? If so, you'll have to use a hack as Teresa suggests to age your baby.

PS. BTW, that's not 85 pages of complaints - its mostly compliments. The InSimenator is probably the most popular mod out there. Remarks like that definitely make you sound Newbie'ish.

I wasn't talking about the InSimenator-I know how advanced and popular it is, I was talking about the 85 pages of questions on the Sims 2 Help board.

yeah cuz i no i couldn't get my baby top change and it was like 12:00 am here i was so tired and i didn't have aging on so i just kost everything it tottaly sucked

The link I posted is for the new insiminator site. People there a very helpful. If you think it might be causeing your problem or might solve it, I bet they can help. :) And no 85pages yet.

I have Quads and three out of four has grown up to toddlers,I did not save the household,I was thinking of restarting my game and see what happens ..
Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Hopefully I posted this in th right place
I guess i was not giving the computer enough time... I have 4 toddlers..
