graphics go wonky after playing for a while

when i first load up the game and play for a couple of hours everything is fine but after some time the screen goes weird, all the textures go green or just get really pixelly. its only started happening in the last few days. i haven't changed my hardware pofile in that time. the characters stay the same, its just the objects, walls & floors that get weird.

does anyone know what might be happening?

i have 1.5 gigs of RAM, XFX GeForce FX 5700 graphics card.

It does sound like overheating.
The first thing to check is the driver version. If you type start run and type dxdiag and click ok.
Go to the Display tab and have a look on the right hand side under drivers, just want the version number.

thanks for the replys. if it is overheating how do i fix? would updating the driver help? i think i have the latest version though.
