"Help" with a Freshman in College

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but I tried putting it under support/gameplay-university but for some reason it wont let me post a question. It keeps telling me I dont have permission to access the page.

I have a question on University, the college area. I have twin girls, Tara and Sara, that I put in college and they just started. They didn't even go through one semester yet, and are at the beginning of the freshman year. Both have thier required skills done already and both have there assignments all caught up and they have never missed a class. Their final came up for the first semester and both got an "A" and made it to the dean's list and recieved a college fund. But when both girls were taking their final for the semester, a message came across the top and said that Tara, the one twin, needs to get back to the real world and after she finishes the test is when I get the message that both got an "A", made the dean's list, recieved money for doing so good, but then a taxi comes and takes Tara back home. Can anyone answer why she can't finish college and her sister is still there and both have the same grades and skills finished. The only difference is that one has a Drama major and the other has a physics major. I didn't save the game and redid it and the same thing keeps coming up. I won't save the game till I know why she has to leave so if any one knows an answer, please let me know. Thanks

Yes i even restarted the game too. and still she has to leave. Any more suggestions?

Do you know for a fact that the game is saying the one leaving is only in her first semester? It could be a bug that is somehow switching her to "post-grad" status during the test.

If that's not it, it could be a hack or something gone awry.

I have simpe and im looking at her description and nothing is different than her sisters. No the game doesn't say anything about her be a post grad. All it says is she needs to get back to the real world and after the test a taxi comes for her. This is her first test in college and so maybe it is a hack. I am checking simpe and seeing what I can find out. In the mean time, any more suggestions?

maybe one of them didnt want to go to college try maybe changing their aspirations otherwise i dont know

Well if u wanted a quick fix I would try going into the sim that keeps getting kicked out 's thing on simpe. If u go to the cologe thing u can pick the simester, I wold just change it there, hope I helped

no. one is fortune and the other is knowledge. I just checked simpe and I can't find anything different from one to the other. Any more? sorry. this is got me confused

try lettign your sim leave, then use (forget what it's called) and it lets u change the sims age, go back to teen and send the sims back to cologe again, u can get her caught up to her sis by using SimPe

Actually, there may be a hack that stops this. I've been searching for it, and so far, your problem seems to be common. It could be that you visited relatives, the relatives hear about the dean's list notice (needs no telepathy hack from J.M. Pescado maybe?), or something like that.

If I find the exact hack that fixes it somewhere, I'll edit it in this post. The no telepathy one probably couldn't hurt anyhow, and it's one of the rare hacks I add in my game :)

Edit pt 2 - Well, reading on the Variousimmers website, a fix by J.M. might not be available. However, there is a college adjuster (http://www.variousimmers.net/vsimforum/showthread.php?t=431) hack that might give you some kind of work around (it's also available here (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=51170) ). You might do a search for hacks by twojeffs here and see if they help.

Edit again, LOL! - ok, from what I gather, J.M.'s college clock may be what you're looking for. In the least, the site is here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/) (click on "free samples" :)

I will do that about leave her leave and then make her a teen again and put her back in college and let you know what I come up with. I am trying right now to make her go into her 2nd semester and upped her days for the final. I will see what happens in both cases and let you all know so that way if any one else comes across this in the future. In the meantime, if there are more suggestions, please let me know in case this doesn't work.

I changed her semester lever and made her have more hrs till final exam in simpe and I tried the game. Now she is in her 2nd semester of the freshmen and she went to class at 7pm to 9pm and she still never came home yet and its 1:30am. I clicked off the going to class icon at the top and she still wont show up at home. good thing I didn't save it...lol. Now Im going to try the college adjuster that SimTaarna has mentioned and then if that fails. I will do what animalyeah101 had mentioned. If anyone else experiences this and has fixed it, please leave a message on how you did it.

Sorry about all the edits, hehe. I haven't had the problem, but I'm paranoid about it coming up. But check that link to getting the college clock. I can't be sure if it works for this problem, or works completely, but it seems like a good place to look.

I just tried the collegeclock and the college adjuster and also the notelepathy and nothing worked. But now instead of going to class and having the message come up when in class and then leave, the message comes up b/f she goes to class and she leaves then. It still says its about time she gets back to the real world and then the taxi comes and gets her. Im checking clean installer to see if there are any other hacks that might be doing it, but I dont understand why I had 1 girl go through college ok but the twins wont. Very confusing. Sorry for rambling. Just thought you would like to know this if it ever came up for you.
