Sims Won't Move Out/In

I don't know what's going on, but my Sims can't move out on their own when I select "Find Own Place". The car doesn't come to pick them up or nothing. Likewise, when I want my Sims to get married to Sims from other households, I click the checkmark for them to move in, but they don't. HELP!

Do you have any noforced move out after graduation hacks? This has stopped the move out option from completing in my wifes game. Everything went smooth until they finished the search in paper or on computer and then they just dropped the thought.

I have had the same problem. It is very strange some households i have no problem moving out but some i can't get the sims to move out.

If you have a LOT of sims in your "characters" folders then this will help you with other problems you'll probably be having sooner or later.

Do you have the "Graduation No Move Out Fix.package" in your game?
If so, remove it and try to move out.

That happened to me too...I think it was because I used the boolprop cheat O.o

I am having this problem too, but I don't have any expansion packs and my neighborhoods are all quite small (by the standards discussed in the other threads). I removed the downloads folder and that didn't help. Does anyone have a clue what might solve the problem?

I've been having this same problem for months now and it's so annoying I've hardly been able to play the game :( In my case the problem occurs in every single family in the neighbourhood, not only the ones which have dead people on the screen.

The things I have tried so far:
- removed all downloads from the folder
- installed pescado's moveoutbugfix
- removed graduation move out fix
- started a brand new neighbourhood instead of the crowded pleasantview, same problem in the new one

I guess I'll try to reinstall next.
