Tutorial: How to Control Mrs.Crumplebottom (Nightlife Only)

Many people have been wondering where Mrs.Crumplebottom is, even me, but now I cant get enough of the hag! If you want to control her and get her married or something you need to take the following steps:
Note: You have to use the boolProp cheat so if you dont like it dont do this.
Note: You must have merola's mind control mirror from here because the "make selectable" button with the boolProp (debug mode) cheat isn't there. You can get the mirror here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=33870

Step 1: Buy the mirror under decorative.
Step 2: Hold down control+shift+c to get the cheat window to come up.
Step 3: Type the cheat boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true (Case Sensitve.)
Note: Afterwards you might want to disable the debug mode cheat by simply typing boolProp testingCheatsEnabled false.)
Step 4: Hold shift and click on the mailbox
Step 5: Click make NPC if you have UNI you will see you can make cheerleaders and professers etc.
Step 6: Click "more" then you will see a button that will spawn Mrs.Crumplebottom onto your lot.(She wont leave unless you use the move objects cheat to delete her.)
Step 7: Spawn any more NPCs that you want you can also spawn a Grand Vampire this way.(useless during the day they just run away, unless you have a hack to stop them from burning in the sun)
Step 8: Click other on the mirror and you will see Mrs.Crumplebottoms name click it and you are controlling her(You cannot hit people with her purse thats completely autonomous action.)
Step 9: Control her as long as you want when you click to control another sim her face will disappear just use the mirror again.

Step 10(Deleting her): Press control+shift+c then type move_objects on then go into buy/build mode and click on her then delete her like youd do an object. If you wish you can turn this cheat off by typing move_objects off.

By the way she kind of "Mimes" stuff because she never lets go of the purse except when shes using certain objects, but after shes done it comes right back.

click your sims then Spawn: Rodneys Death creator
Choose a way to kill her.
I killed mine by old age it doesnt screw up the game either so that was u wont have to worry about here getting bit but one u kill her unless u have a hack u cant get her back.

Just a note.

If you spawn Miss Crumblebottom to your lot, she won't get off the lot. The only way is to delete her with the move_objects on code or use the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true cheat and shift+click her and select Force Error and select delete. it wont screw up my game.

Mrs. Crumplebottom is a really annoying lady who shows up on Comminuty lots (only if you have Nightlife) who hits people with her purse if they get to close or when you interact with her. I usually delete her using Force Error when I see her

Yeeeeeeees, I've seen her!!! Yesterday evening I was playing my legacy (newly started... I've played 3 days of sims time) and I spent my founder in the city for finding a wife and... Mrs. Crumplebottom appears! I said my founder to speak with her, but he was going to the taxi (he has to move to another lot) so I cancelled the action, but the lady was trying to beat him! Why??? I mean, the only action a sim can have with her is quarreling???

She's not exactly an NPC, she's an object. You can't interact with her except being hit with her purse and scolded.
That's why you can only control her with mods or BoolProp.

Hmmmm..... I'm wondering if someone in the Assassin career can "hit" her? That would be funny! As soon as she raised her purse to start hitting the assassin... BANG!

With additional mods you can make her woohoo, romance with almost any sim like on christianlov's easy bed, not ir real life though LOL!!! This also includes the easy sofa, etc. You can find many great mods by christianlov and others on this site to make fun of or have fun with her. If you are super-curious go to sexysims side of MTS2 and check out the other wonderful toys to experiment with if you dare :) There are mod's here on MTS2 that can also change her appearance, her hair, face, clothing, etc. I find that when you click on certain reactions between sims, she will not respond like other sims but there are a few that will. the only problem is when she is responding she will just stand there, for example you can have her flirt and check out another sim(not certain but maybe cheats enabled). the other sim will get grossed out by her. She simply stands there because the animations for making her interact through flirtations are not there.

I know a different way to control her.Type
boolProp testingcheatsEnabled true
and shift-click on the mailbox and click 'Create NPC' and spawn her(or if your mailbox has gone crazy with it's interactions,showing the boolprop ones,from the base game, when you haven't the cheat turned on,like mine,go to a community lot downtown and wait for her to show up).Then shift-click your sim,find the interaction 'Spawn' and click the tombstone of life and death.A tombstone will appear next to the sim.Click on it,then click
'Add to Family' and click Mrs CrumpleBottom.She is now part of our sim's family!You can control her for as long as you like.To get rid of her,you must kill her. :!!: If you delete her,she will reappear when you enter the lot again. :( This will probably be boring you to death,so I'll stop here.I like llamas! :llama:

I'm pretty sure that doesn't work with Mrs. C, unless its changed in the future expansion packs because I haven't tried in awhile. Be aware I posted this in September 2005.

That doesn´t matter, she´s in every neighbourhood. Maybe you´ve just haven´t seen her, she´s an old lady that wears a grey coat and skirt and carries a handbag. If you use boolprop TestingCheatsenabled true and spawn a wishing well you can wish "romance". Usualy you´ll get a man/woman that the computer is controlling. That could be (for exapmle) a paperdeliveryboy/girl. If you don´t "succeed" you´ll get Mrs Crumblebottom climbing out of the well and hit you in the head with her purse. That way you´ll now who she is! ;)

It worked! I have Mrs Crazybottom on my lot, and I'm currently in the process of marrying her to a stupid fat sim that I made, and that she deserves. Funny stuff happened on that lot, Mrs. CrumpeBottom smooched him then beat him with her purse because she doesn't approve of smooching. But I got her to make out with him, have her first kiss with him (major LOL) and she didn't do anything. It was really funny watching them kiss and stuff and she was still holding her purse. Flirting only works when SHE starts it otherwise your Sim gets lectured.

I think I have a way to walk like mrs. Crumplebottom. I have only tried it once. You need mrs crumplebottoms purse from simwardrobe.com I think. and you also need a buyable purse accesory. I think you can get one in the 229 ingame objects collection. and from the big smackers purse. anyway, you need to use moveobjects on cheat and place the purse accesory in the selected sim's hand. then you need to place the purse from simwardrobe onto the lot. then make the sim smack anyone on the lot (like a visitor or mailman) but the sim won't smack anyone. it just does a pick up the purse animation and the purse stays on the ground! but then your sim just looks like Mrs. Crumplebottom with the purse accesory. soooo you might want to go into buy mode and rotate the purse until you think it looks good. you can walk like this. but you might have to do it again once you leave and enter again. I only tried it once. Oh and if you don't know how to get mrs Crumplebottom's outfit. Just do boolprop testingcheatsenabled true/false. then in create a sim mode press shift N. and press shift M to disable the effects. There is also alot of other stuff thats usualy hidden! oh and if you don't want to use the boolprop cheat. I'm sure you can use SimPE to get her outfit. or Just download one.

I heard somewhere that Mrs. Crumplebottom, is actualy an OBJECT and if you turn her into a vampire it will crash your game! :cry: Like, you have to re- install your game! I don't know for sure. but I'm not gonna take any risks trying to find out. :D

I had two of my teens kiss at a club, and she beat them with no mercy.
Very entertaining.

you can also use shift + Click on a sim, spawn tombstone of l+d add neighbour to family... mrs C!

or you can kill her and if u have uni u can ressurect her via a sim who knows her rofl!

I have a sort of cheat neighbourhood, where I experiment with boolprop and I managed to add Mrs. Crumplebottom to a family. Then I played another family in the same neighbourhood. The kids were all in the pool and their parents were making out and Mrs. Crumplebottom walked by and started scolding the kids because they are in their swimclothes then she saw the parents and walked to them, but she didn't get there and she went to the kids again, then to the parents (I gave them like 8 make outs and they continued on and on...) mrs. c. was trapped like that when my own personal ghost, Grandpa Joe, scared her to death! hahahahahahaha....

You should try this, it's GREAT fun!!
By the way, Grandpa Joe also killed two maids, four gardeners and one nanny... I decided not to hire service anymore... Now I have an army of ghosts ready to kill off future Crumplebottoms!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Lol I have to ask - Why on earth would you want to control Mrs Crumplebottom?? She's the reason I barely take my sims Downtown. I remember the first time I came across her, my sims were in this lot downtown that had a hot tub, and all they did was get in - and she lectured them for wearing swimming costumes!

I did try to move in the Grim Reaper and Therapist once though, but they kept disappearing, oh the woes of NPCs. >>
