Nieghborhood disapeared

Ok so I accidently opened up my sims game right so I let it load and everything so then you know the part when you pick a neighborhood to play in well I just put quit the game because I didnt want to play it so then an hour later I open up my game and I notice my pleasantview nieghborhood was gone and thats my favorite nieghborhood all my stories and everything was in there do anybody know how I can get my neighborhood back or some solution? :sorry: if I spelled words wrong

I installed Nightlife (moved my downloads file to another spot first) and when I finally got in, there were NO NEIGHBORHOODS to choose from. NONE.

I created a new neighborhood and started a family on one of the biggest lots. Built a house to try out the new stuff. Noticed that there were no words above any of the needs.

Also, when buying furniture, there are no color choices. And the items that I had in my downloads file for the recolors are still there.
