I remved the Download folder. so that's not the problem.

I have sort of a fresh install of NL with UNI too. My DL folder is empty now, cause my game was crashing (was also crashing without NL).

Now Without any dls it freezes in the loading window. I minimize it just to find out there is an error saying: The application has crashed. The appication will now terminate.

the AppErrors.log file. It's 700kb and fairly long. Prolly from way back. too big to upload it seems.

Rename the log file, AppErrors.log.bak for example, and load the game again. The log file should be much more manegable.

It looks like you have a lot of dulicate sound files and categories.

it seems to be the N001_Neighborhood.package file causing the problem. Any way to fix that file without losing my sims i created?

Yeah I'm getting the same errors on mine too... This happened after I installed NL... I also have Uni but that never happened. The crappy part is that The game will load and play normally for me then all the sims suddenly freez as if they are in pause mode.. thats when I look at the "cheat" console and see all the error messages.

If i figure it out i'll post it here
