This is my second upload to MTS2! This is a combination of contemporary style with modern features.

This was one of the first houses I created for TS2, though I've touched it up a bit for this upload, it still has that "newness" feel (at least to my eye).

I really enjoy open spaces in my Sim houses, it's great for taking pictures, so this house is one of those examples. The main feature you'll see on coming through the front door is the huge vaulted ceilings in the living room. Another handy selling point of the house is the large master suite on the first floor, which means less travel time throughout the house.

Another fun highlight of this house is the artists' loft complete with painting easles and backdrops. Just sit down your model and paint them with ease! =)

I hope you enjoy the house, I'd love to hear comments and suggestions!

(ADDED): I forgot to mention that there is also a large unfinished attic for when your family expands. It is all set up to be used as an extra bedroom and bathroom. There is even a space for storage for baby items that aren't in use or old family heirlooms!

(ADDED): Due to some comments about this lot crashing a couple people's games, I'd like to mention that while *I* have all expansion packs, this lot was created before any were released. However, please install at your own risk! If you have a 'vanilla' game, this lot may not work in your game.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .sims2pack file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).

• You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install.
