This is a crow or possibly raven I know there are differences but I think this bird could pass for either.
I think I got all the GUIDS changed so hopefully there will be no issues there. Obviously please let me know if there are. Also so far as I know you should only need pets for this to work.
Of course your sims will still open the non-existent cage door and such but I certainly was not about to mess with the animations to change that. The crow still sounds like a parrot...oh well it isn't so bad really. The wings look a little odd while folded but I did everything I could think of and this is the best I was able to get and at least they aren't upside down anymore! In flight everything looks great.
Klinnys wonderful pet uploads were my inspiration for this. She helped me a great deal throughout the process so all thanks should really go to her and Corvidophile2 who also helped me bunches. In fact the tree texture I used is one Corvidophile2 sent me because mine were giving me all kinds of problems.
This is my first attempt at an object for the sims2. I am not totally unhappy with the result though to be truthful by this point after working on this off and on for over a month I mostly just wanted it to be done. I know it is far from perfect but I hope noone will be too harsh. Believe me I am most likely well aware of any flaws you might notice.
Anyway I hope people enjoy my silly bird.
Caw Caw bang *#@% I'm done...
Polygon Counts:
The bird is 2154 faces and 1783 vertices
the dead tree that acts as your crows home is 1011 faces and 1223 vertices
Additional Credits:
Thanks to SimPE such an amazing program what would we do without it?
MTS2 for having such a helpful site full of useful information and fantastic people.
Klinny for pretty much everything
Corvidophile2 for being so helpful and for the texture that finally worked and actually looked decent!

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
