Information (Click for more details):
New Mesh
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
I already made a modern kitchen but how about something a bit more traditional and country. Here it is:
![]() Some of you might be recognising the texture and rightly so; it's a repository set of KitchenBasic so you can use all the shelves, the backsplash, whatever bits you want to mix and match from that set and vice versa. You do need the main counter from KitchenBasic set for this to work. There are quite a few little deco bits included here. The peg racks and wood finishes take on the KB colours (It was an accident but even the spoon will match your counters... I hope you don't abuse that too much ) The blackboard comes with a shaker style print recolour although I forgot to get a picture. Trust me, its pwetty.Lastly, some interesting info shown above. You have the choice of matching the cupboard and table tops with either countertop or counterfinish colours. This only added 60 or so polys and I thought the extra versatility was well worth it. I haven't made any appliances...yet but they may be on the cards. For best results use your island in 1 and 2 tile combinations. edit 7/6/09 Don't expect any logic in what I add, it'll just come out bit by bit. I thought the most urgent thing was a matching trashcompactor and for some reason I thought there needed to be a high chair for the toddlers edit 13/6/09 Added a sink and a dining room buffet. ![]() edit 17/06/09 Added a first fridge with the following colours: ![]() ![]() I'm a bit bored of two door fridges and I thought this mock retro style worked well with the set. Although I have changed the position of where the sims open the door it is still a messy animation if you look too closely. There is nothing I can do about that. If it bothers you, don't use it and wait for the next fridge which will be in typical sim style. edit 27/06/09 Added a dishwasher matching the fridge but forgot to take pictures. So, its not quite "fall out" but its my belated birthday pressie for the now defunct MTS2 and the arrival of MTSinfo. If you are having blue issues AFTER making sure that you have the necessary meshes, clear your game caches, take the sets out of your download folder. Start the game again. Then put all the necessary packages back in the folder. Enjoy! Updates:3/6/09 : fixed the defect for the counter when used with other sinks 16/06/09: fixed the dodgy water level of this sink Collection file is included.
