It has to match! *twitch*
I developed a paranoid complex while making these, as I am sure that you all have your own versions of them in your games but you just didn't tell me. (Yeah, I know you have
Still, having waded back into the mists of time in the MTS S2 'Walls' section, I couldn't find anything identical hidden on here (all the way back to 2004, I went...there were 224 pages to look through... 224!!). So, without any further meltdown on my part, here we go with the decor:
EAxis gave us lilac "Hopalong" and "Crayons" walls that did not match any of the base game crib recolours; I don't know why they didn't make a blue... Their pale cream version was also a bit too
pale for my liking - I wanted a sturdier yellow to match that yellow crib! So, I made up "Hopalong" and "Crayons" paint walls in "Sunny Yellow" and "Bonny Blue" to match the cribs. Both cost $5 per strip. Their matching "Sunny Yellow" and "Bonny Blue" carpets also cost $5 per tile.
I never thought any of the game's pink walls truly matched that base game pink'n'flowery bedding, so made up a plain one with a white skirting board. $5 per strip.
Given the busy-ness of the Bon Voyage green bedding, I wanted a plain lime wall with white skirting to match it. A murky green carpet was provided by the game, but I made up a brighter one to better please my eyes. You don't
need BV to use these. $5 each.
My Old Blues Pine
wall matches a variety of EAxis bedding and looks wonderful in pretty much every room in the house.
My Slumbering Pine
wall will perfectly match that mixed-up bedding we must surely all recognise and, again, looks great anywhere in a home.
Both the Pines
are $10 a piece.
Every wall/floor is clearly labelled, so you can delete the ones you don't want.
And that's it! Sleep easy, people of Sim City, for your rooms match better now...
